- Nearly 70% school in Scotland closed
- Winds of up to 80mph (137km/h) swept across western Scotland and the central belt.
- In the Highlands, wind speeds were even higher with gusts of 165mph recorded at Cairn Gorm (tempat main ski dulu).
- The high winds also closed tourist attractions including Edinburgh Zoo, Edinburgh Castle and the Midlothian Snowsports Centre at Hillend.

- Trains were set a speed limit of 50mph.
