Weekly visit to care home to play with the seniors May 2015 Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:  Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,  "If a young man honors an older person on account of his age,  Allah appoints someone to show reverence to him in his old age."  [At-Tirmidhi]

Happy day

Image
This is what happened after the girls found something under the bed... Why under the bed? Because my dad always said: "Pi la cari bawah katil (Find it under the bed)" But, it was never there. The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up. ~Mark Twain~ 19 Mei 2012

Langit Merah

Awal pagi membuka hari baru. He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. Surah Az-Zumar, ayat 5  (The Troops)

Keep cool, even when you are tired

Reflection cannot be seen in a boiling water. Similarly, the truth cannot be seen in a state of anger or arrogance. So always keep yourself cool  and remain humble to know the truth...  ♥ From: www.iloveallaah.com

I Know Silence

Image
I know silence, because I'm deaf. It gives me time to prepare, to listen with my heart, not with my ears, but with my eyes so full of passion, and of determination, that I can share with the world.  I know silence, I've waited so long to hear, to hear songs so clear, and I won't have to wonder, or to cry any more tears, or to hide from any more fears. I'll reach into my heart, and always know that it is ok! To be deaf. * by Tomora Pace

Hold my hand

Image
Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, ‘Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don’t fall into the river.’ The little girl said, ‘No, Dad. You hold my hand.’ ‘What’s the difference?’ Asked the puzzled father. ‘There’s a big difference,’ replied the little girl.  ‘If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go.’ NB: From the internet

One day we will be there

Just too share what my friend wrote about performing the hajj. It's one of our life aims. InsyaAllah. - Ayah - Hajj with Children by Qhaireel Anwar Khalib on Sunday, 02 January 2011 at 20:00   This is my comment on a Hajj website for our Hajj operator (British Hajj and Umrah Services).  Got an email from the operator about some biased comments on them.  Some people expects 100% trouble free journey just because they've paid for the trip and the Hajj Operators are therefore responsible for everything.  Performing Hajj with Children is indeed an interesting (& rewarding) experience. Assalamualaikum. My family and I travelled with British Hajj and Umrah Services for Hajj in 2010. As we are taking children (aged 13, ,10 and 7), I was particularly careful from the beginning in selecting the company we are going with. After a lot of researches and calls to the various companies, I finally decided to use BHUS even though we are based in London. Brother S...

Sama-sama kita solat

NAK SOLAT MMG KENA SABAR.. You are the best!

You are the best of the nations raised up for (the benefit of) men; you enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and believe in Allah." (3:110)

Koleksi ayah

"When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us."   Kita boleh mengajar anak-anak berdoa setiap hari kepada Allah sebagai tanda terima kasih, atau untuk meminta sesuatu dan memohon maaf atas sebarang kesalahan.   The best word of remembrance is: Lâ ilâha illallah and the best supplication is: Alhamdulillâh.” [Tirmidhi]   Great thoughts always come from the heart. |Marquis De Vauvenargues|   There are two types of people in this world those who look for difficulties and those who seek solutions - which would you rather be? |Anonymous|

Thinking

Thinking (The Man Who Thinks He Can)   If you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you don't. If you'd like to win but you think you can't, It's almost a cinch you won't. If you think you'll lose, you're lost, For out of the world we find Success begins with a fellow's will - It's all in the state of mind. If you think you're outclassed, you are; You've got to think high to rise; You've got to be sure of yourself before You can ever win a prize. Life's battle doesn't always go To stronger or faster men; But sooner or later the man who wins, Is the one who thinks he can. - Walter D. Wintle - (First saw at Alia & Ariana's school)
