I Will Be Here

I Will Be Here © Angie Flores When your sad and depressed, I will be here to put a smile on your face. When your angry and frustrated, I will be here to calm you down. When your hurt and in tears, I will be here to wipe them away and mend the pain. When your lonely and have no one, I will be here to comfort you. When your feeling unloved and unwanted, I will be here to tell you how very important you are. When your having a bad day and need to lash out, I will be here to let you let off steam, you can yell at me. When there is something on your mind that you need to say, I will be here to listen and understand. When your lost in confusion, I will be here to help you figure things out. When you feel like your going crazy, I will be here to bring you back to sanity. When you are so overwhelmed and need to get away, I will be here with open arms so we can runaway together. When your scared and frightened, I will be here to protect you...

Love

" Love is a precious gift that people try to hold onto until the end of time, even when there is nothing left to hold. "

Love 2

The one thing we can never get enough of is love.  And the one thing we can never give enough of is love.

Love

Love knows no reasons.  Love knows no lies.  Love defies all reasons.  Love has no eyes.  Love is not blind; it sees but it doesn't mind.  Love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.  Love is so easy to feel, so hard to explain; easy to get, so hard to let go; easy to spell, so hard to define. * Found in the web

Laughter and Tears IX

" It is something that gathers strength with patience, grows despite obstacles, warms in winter, flourishes in spring, casts a breeze in summer, and bears fruit in autumn -- I found Love. " Khalil Gibran http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/laughter-and-tears-ix/

If I Had My Child to Raise Over Again

Image
If I Had My Child to Raise Over Again by Diane Loomans If I had my child to raise all over again, I'd build self esteem first , and the house later. I'd fingerpaint more , and point the finger less. I would do less correcting and more connecting . I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes . I would care to know less and know to care more . I'd take more hikes and fly more kites. I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play . I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars. I'd do more hugging and less tugging. I'd see the oak tree in the acorn more often. I would be firm less often, and affirm much more . I'd model less about the love of power, and more about the power of love .

A Mother's Love

Image
How deep is a mother's love? How far does a mother's love go? Is there a limit to her love? Is there always enough of her love? A mother will for the love of her children, Do the things ordinary beings will not do, Things that are seen as a bother, She has them done without much fuss. Always making sure there is ample food for all, Hiding her countless worries for her children, Swallowing anger when her pride is bruised, Forgiving the very child who hurt her feelings. Taking under her loving and gentle wings, The little children of her own children, Pouring her unmatched devotion and affection, Spelling out the great depth of her endless love. Now tell me can you measure a mother's love? Copyright © 2006 Fion Lim. All rights reserved.
